Its been a long time since my last blog. Recent news of Messi leaving Barcelona is driving me mad and I’m hurt deeply and seriously wanted to pour out all my emotions so that I could feel relaxed.

Messi’s Nightmare

Messi the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) in his 20 year long run career at Barcelona had so many ups and downs, but though we all enjoyed Messi’s Magical game all the time. The love and loyalty showed by Messi to Barca must be respected and appreciated. But now, things are turning out difficult, Barcelona board couldn’t register Messi for the new season because of economic and structural obstacles(Spanish La Liga regulations) , they’re not flexible with Barca on salary limit. Though Messi accepted to take 50% pay cut from his fee and wanted to stay at Barcelona, unfortunately because of La Liga rules and financial crisis the club couldn’t proceed. So it leaves Messi in a nightmare and forced out to leave Barcelona.

Lionel Messi in early days of his career: “People know it very well that I would never leave Barcelona. If I ever leave then it‘s because they kick me out and not because I decided it to. I have always said that Barcelona is my home”.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta told that, Club had an agreement with Messi to sign a five-years contract. The club were convinced it was a good agreement for Financial Fair Play but, it wasn’t allowed by La Liga. Also he mentioned, “We can’t sell fake hopes to the fans. We have to move on. Barcelona will be above everything. We need to be eternally thankful to Leo”.

Finally, FC Barcelona wholeheartedly expressed its gratitude to Messi for his contribution to the aggrandisement of the club and wished him all the very best for his personal and professional life. It’s an End of an Era. This sums up all the chaos between Messi and Barcelona.

Fans Reaction of Messi’s Exit

As a Barca fan, I admired Messi donning the Barca colors for 20 years and It was pure joy to watch him play, always giving the best to the club . His name will be always remembered and written down in history of the club and football forever.

When I heard the news and I literally broke out and was hurt deeply. I could see all fans are heartbroken, rolling in tears, couldn’t accept this tough decision made by Barcelona and protesting against the Barcelona management. Its hard to see Messi playing for another club. I would rather say, “Seeing Messi in another jersey is like, Seeing your wife sleeping with someone else”. I feel like, Its a worst day in history of the club. But in the end, no matter what happens we still love and support our Barca. All the Culer’s out there, we just have to accept that a New Era has started at Barcelona. Neither I nor You could do nothing, we just have to accept the fact and move on.

I just wanted to this blog post of my inner feelings, which is also the inner voice of many football fans. Any comments or feedbacks and queries are welcomed.

Thank You for Reading.
